Alchemia, was one of the first bars opened in the heart of Kazimierz and is definitely one of the most special pubs in Krakow. In the very heart of the old Jewish quarter you will find a bar that is so unique that you won’t know if you are awake or have slipped into a dream. It is not only a place where you can have a drink it is a a cultural institution. Alchemia host bands and live music acts from all over the globe and regularly exhibits art from local artists. Entering Alchemia transports you into another world. The lights are low, and candles map out your path. You can feel an unforgettable air of bohemian decadence. This atmosphere owes much to the design of the pub which is based on antique furbishings and accessories dating from a bygone era. The amazing atmosphere of this pub combined with relatively low prices make Alchemia very popular with students and artists, both Polish and foreign, so you can always meet some interesting people there.

The aim of Przychodnia Towarzyska (Social Clinic) is to cure guests who are tired of everyday life. We have three rooms – in one of them the bar is built of 88 pharmacy drawers – each containing a different drug effectively curing all maladies, the second has some place to dance (to move is healthy), in the third one soft sofas and armchairs to rest. Blue crosses on the floor and the bar are a symbol of the club. Everyday schedule includes parties with good music for everyone, concerts and other attractions for body and mind. It is worth mentioning that the bar was designed to dance on it and it has become a symbol of our club which is really crowded during the weekends and other days. Great fun in a friendly atmosphere guaranteed.
Throw on some glitter, put on your sparkly dress, clean your prumps! And when you hear the best tunes from the second half of the 20th century, run to the dancefloor and show us some moves! Every day parties and "Saturday's night fever" feels chilli compared to our weekends. And all of this takes place in the unforgettable atmosphere of old times and the communist era.
